Kidzone in the Park
Thursdays, July 7 and 14 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Monroe Park in Decatur

This event, sponsored by First Christian Church, is an avenue used to shine the light, hope and love of Jesus into a neighborhood. It’s important that this program is in the neighborhood, not here in our building. Kidzone in the Park is a wonderful way to spend four summer nights showing our community that Jesus cares for them, serving alongside family and other FCC members, and having fun, too. See ya in the 'zone!

Event setup starts at 5:30pm
Dinner is served at 6:15pm
Games & activities begin at 6:45pm
Program starts at 7:30pm
Event cleanup begins at 8pm
We are out of the park no later than 8:30pm.

Young Widowed Support Group

The death of a spouse or partner, at any age, can be an overwhelming loss. However, the loss for a young widow(er) is different. Issues can involve unfulfilled dreams, children, finances, loneliness and much more.

We invite you to attend the newly formed Young Widowed Support Group (suggested ages 20-55).
The Young Widowed Support Group can offer:
• Emotional support through your time of grieving and loneliness.
• Hope for a brighter tomorrow, even though that may sound impossible.
• Friendships with others who can cry, laugh and heal with you.

Decatur Area Christian Ministries Alliance Lunch Meeting

We invite your children to our Vacation Bible School.  This year your children will have fun in the Son at Gospel Light’s SonSurf Beach Bash.  They will have a great time singing songs, watching skits, creating crafts and playing games. But most important, when they meet up with Jesus they’ll discover just how much God loves them.
