For over six years I have been privileged to be a part of a team that has taken the Word of God to the ladies at the Decatur Correctional Center on the third Sunday of every month.

As part of that outreach, we are collecting backpacks and school supplies for the children of these ladies. This not only reinforces their parental responsibilities but helps them develop a stronger bond.

Items needed include Backpacks, School glue, Crayons, Pencils, Pens, Plastic Rulers, Notebooks, and Notebook Paper. Virtually any item a school child might require.

Please do not send spiral-bound notebook paper, scissors or any other item with metal
—not even a metal edged ruler.

If you would like to donate items, I would be more than happy to collect them from you at your convenience. You may also make a cash donation toward this great outreach opportunity. Simply make your check payable to LIVING Christian Magazine and write "Prison School Supplies" in the memo field.
